Cast Bios


LanDis Frederick

LanDis Frederick is a United States Naval combat veteran after 12 years of military service (2008 – 2020). He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Oh. In 2013, LanDis moved to Chicago to study comedy at Second City Training Center. He is now a seasoned comedy veteran with over 10 years of improv and sketch comedy performances. This is his third Stars and Gripes revue as a founding member, and his first two-person show. Among his many talents, he is regarded as a highly esteemed chicken nugget and hummus connoisseur.


Jonah Saesan

From Waukegan IL, Jonah Saesan is an award winning film director and actor who’s been performing since the fifth grade. He served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his military service, Jonah graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and completed The Second City Training Center Conservatory and Writing programs. Recent acting credits include a co-star role for “South Side” on HBO and several regional and national commercials. Additionally, Jonah is honored to work with The Second City Training Center where he teaches improv classes and developed the Improv for Veterans program. He also can’t shut up about the time he spent stationed in Hawaii, misses it dearly, but considers Chicago a close second!
